Revitalizing a health icon
AOK is Germany's largest health insurance company, providing health coverage to more than 26 million people. But the company's enormous size proved to be a major challenge in how it was branding itself. Various regional campaigns were fragmenting AOK and making it incoherent. The aim of this rebranding was to revitalize and unify the corporate identity and create a design experience that reflects the values of AOK: empathetic, approachable, with a clear and strong vision.

Dear Human is a people & culture consultancy with a commitment to diversity, inclusion and equal opportunities. An agency for humans, not resources.
Addressing critical issues is crucial creating a truly inclusive environment in a truly diverse company. To get the conversation startet, we designed a custom typeface with versatile shapes and styles, as diverse as the topics and people Dear Human works with. »ABC Diversity« invites users to define their own letter-mix in a playful manner, choosing from a set of multiple alternates. The distinct alphabet conferes a branded character upon every written word, helping to set focus and change perception — letter by letter.

There's HPP in happiness.
Daily™ is Essentially's answer to the nordic delivery challenges. With high pressure processing (HPP) comes extended shelf-life. And a delivery radius to the whole of Norway, including Circle K, Starbucks and other partners. The task was to create a sub brand that preserves the DNA of the mother brand and at the same time differentiates in a fast growing juiceshelf.
The result: 24 distinctive letters, derived directly from the Essentially brand mark. Cold pressed, ultra-tasty, nutrition-dense and raw. Challenging all the »ojays« out there.

Almost 100 years after inventing television as we know it in 1923, Loewe set new standards again with another visionary take on home entertainment. »System X« is a fully IP-based render device family, designed and built for a new breed of non-linear consumers.
A pure text layout breaks with the visual codes of the premium electronic segment, whilst linking System X to the Loewe brand's genuine design heritage. Bold. Simple. Driven by content and innovation.

Minimal identity for ADDICT, a music company hooked on sound. An alphabet of symbols derived from the world of music production acts as a building block for a graphical score that keeps offering new compositions on repeat.

Concept and identity development for FashionFusion, an international ideas competition by Deutsche Telekom. The initiative's goal is to invite Europe’s most promising talents from fashion and technology to collaborate and to pioneer new forms of technologically enhanced fashion, wearable technologies and everything in between. With coaches from the nexus of cutting-edge fashion and technology, Deutsche Telekom empowers finalists to develop quality prototypes. And to present them during the Berlin Fashion Week.
Ladder-inspired typography and glitched imagery interweave the analogue and virtual in print, digital and live-communication.

Staying focused in a world of distractions.
German book retailer Thalia came up with the idea of a reading glasses private label. We created a vibrant identity that celebrates the joy of reading in every detail, starting with the naming: VIZOU. The two ranges (rounded & square) were translated into a set of geometric patterns that act as a visual code for each line. Applied to the packaging, they evolve in scale and color according to the dioptric strength, form and tonality of the respective eyewear model.
